It is suitable for rooms up to 87m/2 or 930ft.2 and comes fitted with the following two filters; Carbon Activated Filter, HEPA filter. If you would like to understand more about these,
How loud is it?
Like all air purifiers, there will always be somes degree of noise as the fan turns to draw air through the filters. The Vax air purifier air purifier has 3 different speed settings and the higher the speed, the louder the device is. On low though this is not louder than a small household fan. It is also stated by various sellers such as John Lewis, Amazon and also Vax directly that this machine has a “quiet operation”.
Vax use a simple design and the unit measures 50 x 47 x 27cm. This device incorporates touch sensitive buttons to turn the air purifier on/off and to change the speed settings. There is also a timer function that can be set to 2, 4 or 8 hours. After this period the air purifier switches itself off automatically which is very useful for night time use or when leaving the house.
Suitable for rooms up to 87 m2 or around 930 ft./2. Vax boast better coverage than the VonHaus although the price reflects this. If used in a similar size room this device would be quicker at cleaning the air and filtering out pollutants. Vax also have two other models in the AP range, AP01 and AP03. The smallest model, AP01 is suitable for rooms up to 61m2 and the largest device, the AP03 is suitable for rooms up to 103m2. Both can be found on Amazon here; Vax AP01 Air Purifier, Vax AP03 Air Purifier.
